How much does a cleaner cost in City Walk?
Regular hourly cleaning with Pine Fresh is a flat AED 35 an hour, however many hours you book, using your own cleaning equipment. If you'd like us to bring ours, add AED 5 an hour. A one-off clean is AED 40 an hour. A one-off clean of a studio or 1-bed usually comes to about AED 80 to 120. The rates are the same in every City Walk building, and every visit has a 2-hour minimum.
Which parts of City Walk do you cover?
All of it, every residential building in every phase of City Walk, between Al Wasl Road and Al Safa Street. We also clean in Al Wasl, Al Safa and Business Bay next door.
Do you clean duplexes with terraces?
Yes. Duplexes have more floors, stairs and glass, so they usually suit three or four longer visits a week. We sweep terraces, wipe outdoor furniture and clean sliding doors and glass balustrades as part of your visit. We don't clean or treat private pools.
Can you clean my apartment before I move in or out?
Yes, and it's one of our most common City Walk requests. Most City Walk homes are rented, and a one-off clean helps you start fresh or get your deposit back. A studio or 1-bed one-off clean usually takes about 2 to 3 hours, and an empty flat is quicker to clean than a furnished one.
Can you cover while our live-in helper is on leave?
Yes. Many City Walk families have a maid's room and a live-in helper, and book us for a few weeks of regular visits while their helper is on annual leave. Tell us the dates and we'll keep the same cleaner for you.
Does my building need to approve the cleaner?
Some City Walk buildings ask visitors and service providers to register at security, and some ask for cleaning equipment to go up in the service lift. Tell us your building when you book, and we'll follow its rules and send your cleaner's name in advance.
Do you clean windows and glass?
We clean the inside of windows, glass balcony doors, mirrors and shower screens as part of your visit. We don't clean the outside of high-rise windows. Your building's facade team looks after those.
How many hours does a City Walk apartment need?
As a guide, a 1-bed needs 2 to 3 hours a visit, a 2-bed 3 to 4 hours, and a 3-bed or duplex 4 or more. We confirm the right hours for your home when we quote.
Is it legal to book a part-time maid in City Walk?
Yes, as long as the cleaner works for a licensed company. Hiring someone on a freelance, visit or "own" visa is illegal in the UAE, and households can face heavy fines. Pine Fresh cleaners are employed by our licensed company, so you're simply booking a service.
Do you bring cleaning materials and equipment?
It's your choice. On regular hourly plans we use your own cleaning equipment at AED 35 an hour, or bring ours for an extra AED 5 an hour (AED 40 an hour in total). Tell us which you'd like when you book.
