Old Town apartment cleaning
Around 35 low-rise buildings in a traditional Arabian style between Souk Al Bahar and the Boulevard. Mostly 1 to 3-bed apartments, many with terraces and courtyard views.

How much does a cleaner cost in Downtown Dubai?
Regular hourly cleaning with Pine Fresh is a flat AED 35 an hour, however many hours you book, using your own cleaning equipment. If you'd like us to bring ours, add AED 5 an hour. A one-off clean is AED 40 an hour. A one-off clean of a studio or 1-bed usually comes to about AED 80 to 120. The rates are the same in every Downtown building, and every visit has a 2-hour minimum.
Which parts of Downtown Dubai do you cover?
All of it, from the low-rise Old Town and the towers along the Boulevard to the Opera District and the buildings around the Burj Khalifa. We also clean in Business Bay, DIFC and City Walk next door.
Can you clean my new apartment before I move in?
Yes, and it's one of our most common Downtown requests. Newly handed-over towers, especially around the Opera District, often leave construction dust on balconies, window tracks and AC vents. A studio or 1-bed one-off clean usually takes about 2 to 3 hours, and an empty flat is quicker to clean than a furnished one.
Does my building need to approve the cleaner?
Some Downtown towers ask visitors and service providers to register at security, and some ask for cleaning equipment to go up in the service lift. Tell us your building when you book, and we'll follow its rules and send your cleaner's name in advance.
Do you clean windows and glass?
We clean the inside of windows, glass balcony doors, mirrors and shower screens as part of your visit. We don't clean the outside of high-rise windows. Your building's facade team looks after those.
Can you clean my Old Town terrace?
Yes. We sweep and mop terraces and balconies and wipe down outdoor furniture as part of your visit. Tell us about your terrace when you book, so we plan the time in.
How many hours does a Downtown studio or 1-bed need?
As a guide, a studio needs about 2 hours a visit, a 1-bed 2 to 3 hours, and a 2-bed 3 to 4 hours. Most Downtown studios and 1-beds book one visit a week. We confirm the right hours for your home when we quote.
Can I leave a key with my building's concierge?
Yes. Many Downtown residents are at work while we clean and leave a key or access card with their concierge or security desk. Tell us how your building handles visitors when you book, and we'll share your cleaner's details in advance.
Is it legal to book a part-time maid in Downtown Dubai?
Yes, as long as the cleaner works for a licensed company. Hiring someone on a freelance, visit or "own" visa is illegal in the UAE, and households can face heavy fines. Pine Fresh cleaners are employed by our licensed company, so you're simply booking a service.
Do you bring cleaning materials and equipment?
It's your choice. On regular hourly plans we use your own cleaning equipment at AED 35 an hour, or bring ours for an extra AED 5 an hour (AED 40 an hour in total). Tell us which you'd like when you book.
